What is the absolute easiest way to get to Lake Como?

Fly from the US to Milan, we recommended a domestic layover as opposed to a layover in say London or France. From Milan, have a pre-arranged car service take you directly to your hotel in Lake Como.

If I want to take a train to Lake Como from Milan, where can I buy tickets?

Please visit this link to book train tickets from Milano Centrale station to Como S. Giovanni station. From there it is a short taxi or Uber ride to your hotel

Do I need a passport?

You will need a passport to get into Italy. Please ensure you have a valid passport with an expiration date later than October 16th, 2024. Please visit this link if you need to renew your passport.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Our wedding day will be a canvas of colors and flowers. We invite you to embrace the theme in your most elegant attire – think black tie, but without the black! Let your outfit bloom with vibrant colors. Don't worry about buying something new; just bring your joy and your brightest hues.

How will my phone work in Italy?

Wi-Fi is readily available at your hotel. To use your phone off Wi-Fi, contact your provider to setup an international phone plan that will allow you to use your phone as you do state side. This will allow you to use apps like Uber when not connected to Wi-Fi.

What will the weather be like?

Expect consistent temperatures between 50°F and 65°F. It usually rains about eight days during the month of October, so please come prepared.

Will my credit/debit cards work?

In Italy, most restaurants, hotels, and shops accept major credit and debit cards. However, it's wise to inform your bank about your travel plans to avoid any unexpected card blocks. Keep in mind that smaller establishments or local markets might prefer cash, so having a few Euros on hand can be useful. Always check for transaction fees or international charges associated with using your card abroad.

Do we have to attend every event?

Though we would love to have everyone at each event, all events are optional, so please just let us know in the RSVP which events you plan to attend.

Will my electronics work?

Travelers from the US should be aware that Italy uses a different voltage and plug type compared to the US. To use your US electronics in Italy, you'll need a power adapter and/or a voltage converter.
